Video: Food Swaps for Snacks & Pantry Staples

In this video, I review some packaged food items that you can purchase at local health food stores, grocery stores and online retail grocers like NaturaMarket.ca, iherb.ca and Well.ca.

The items listed in this video are only pantry staples. Anything that is shelf-stable is technically considered a processed food (ex. crackers, cereals, canned items, etc.). I always encourage a focus on eating whole foods when you can, but I also know that many families need options that are quick and convenient for themselves and their family.

When I shop for foods, I look for items that have no added sugars (or low added sugars), along with zero added industrial seed oils (like canola oil, corn oil, vegetable oil, soybean oil, safflower, etc.) whenever I can. It is unfortunately, very challenging to find packaged food options in the supermarket without any of those added ingredients. But you're in luck! Here are some great food finds that you might be interested in trying. Enjoy!

Note: Watch the video on 1.25X or 1.5X the speed for a quicker review of the products.
